I don't do this to make a living (but a little extra cash never hurt anyone!). Its an addiction... and I like trying to help beginners get into some gear that works without breaking the bank... after paying for AFF these days, there's not much left to continue in the sport. Thats what is important... STAY IN THE SPORT!

Most of you probably don't know who the Gear Gaper is: I've been around the sport since I was 16 (in 1978), mostly in the Southeastern U.S. Ever since, I always seemed to find THE DEAL on what ever gear was in need. If there was a great buy to be had, I just happened to be in the right place, at the right time. Likewise, I could always manage to snivel my way onto a demo or some other high profile jump, when all the "Skygods" sat on the ground with envy. These are the things that created the nick names Gear Gaper and Master Sniveler.
